The US Open of Surfing Starts today August 1 and runs through August 8, 2010. The US Open has expanded the from the original OP PRO to now be on of Huntington Beach's best events. It is now a week long event which includes not only some of the best surfing in world but also a series of great skate events and BMX events as well as music every evening.
There are surfing events every starting in the morning and lasting throughout the day. Huntington Beach offers a great venue for this event as thousands of people will come out to enjoy the surfing, the beautiful weather and of course the beautiful people.
If surfing is not your thing, you can enjoy the Converse Coastal Carnage, a great skate event with 30 of the best skaters in the world vying for the top price. There is also the Nike HB BMX Pro which has become of the top BMX events in just one year. Top Riders such as returning champion, Ryan Guettler, and top rivals Scotty Cranmar and Daniel Dhers will be there for the event.
There is also free music events every evening from 4PM to 7PM. So the Huntington Beach US Open has something for everybody. Come out and enjoy the fun.
