With summer in full bloom, I'm out walking and exploring my neighborhood. There are a lot of farmers markets that are now open until the fall. I've checked out the market that is located in Trinity Bellwoods Park. The park runs from Queen St. to Dundas St at the north end. The market is located at the top end of the park at Dundas. Its open every Thursday in the summer months. Its wonderful opportunity to support our local farmers and try some interesting products like specialty cheeses, organic fruits, vegetables, coffees and honey, lots of other products are available too.
I thoroughly enjoyed the goat cheese from Monforte Dairy. They are a small operation from Stratford, Ontario. So, if you are lucky enough to live in the neighborhood you should check out this little market.
On my way back I thoroughly enjoyed the colourful gardens along the way. I took some wonderful pictures of homes and gardens. Will post then once I figure it out.
