By

Take a look at the buck-he seems to be checking out if they are all still safe to continue eating. I took these in a housing development on a Sunday afternoon.  I was very surprised to see this beautiful animals out so early in the day.  I glad I was able to capture these photo's though.

Tom,

Yes, it's great when that happens.  Unfortunately more often I see great photo opportunities and I don't have my camera with me.  Thanks for you compliment, I appreciate it.

Debbie...Grab your cell phone, keys, driver's license, some money (known as a credit card) and your CAMERA.  Don't leave home without it.

You must be enjoying some pretty scenery also.  Thanks for these photos.  We have a number of dear deers (yes, I know what I did) near my house but they haven't peeked in my windows yet.  That happened to me with a moose when I lived in Alaska.

Cheers, Kathleen

Kathleen,

Thanks.  Wildlife is very interesting to watch and photograph.  You are right, I should always bring my camera with me.

Debbie--I had a few in my yard a month or so ago that I was able to get up close to for a photo...fawns without mom...or I wouldn't have tried it.

Howdy Debbie

Thank you for sharing these photos with us. It's always a surprise at what timme of the day you can see deers. Most folks think they sleep during the day. I have seen deer out an about at high noon before.

Have a good one

Teri,

I love the fawns, they are so beautiful.  A photo with Mom would have been nice too.

The deer may look pretty but they can be pesky little varmants when they get into gardens.  We have them around here too.  They just love my pansies.

Tracy,

Yes, they can ruin a vegetable or flower garden.  They ate my pepper plants!

Debbie~

It is amazing when you get shots like these. I wonder what it would be like happening by your window form indoors to see a couple of big brown eyes peeking in...and then realize who they belonged to =)

JaneAnne,

You're right, I never thought of it that way.   How wonderful would that be to capture a photo of that!

Thanks for your comment.
