Cave Creek, AZ restaurants

On Sunday, after venturing out in another 107 degree day to get our fall plants, we decided to go to the Silver Spur restaurant in Cave Creek, AZ for one of their club sandwiches.  The last time we went, we decided it was the best in our area.

Imagine our surprise when we pulled up and found this "new" sign out front.  We hadn't heard anything about the name change, although the local paper, the Sonoran News, did report on it changing hands.

We walked in and asked the hostess what was going on?  She said she was relatively new and didn't know the full story.

I hope Honky Tonk Jack stays seated and their food remains the same high quality it's always been.

For those of you who have been to this area, this also used to be known as the Satisfied Frog.

They have a BEAUTIFUL wedding chapel area in the back which is typically booked from October to May, almost every weekend.

I'll let you know about the food the next time we head into town.

Juli I do hope the food will be even better than it was under the former owners. I have been to places that changed hands and sign and I can still remember the old names.

If I had gone shopping for plants while it was 107°F outside, I would have stopped, not for sandwiches, but for a margarita! ☺☻☻☺
