Anchorage Real Estate Market Update
During the period of September 25, 2010 to October 1, 2010, Anchorage had 905 Active Properties on the Alaska MLS, 50 of which were New Listings, 38 pended listings, and 42 property listings that closed and recorded. Anchorage currently has 833 Active Listings. Because we are haded into winter, I am anticipating a decline in active Residntial listings... which means that this is a Great time to put a home on the market, being as there would be less competition than in the summer months. And yes, people do buy houses during the Winter. =)
