St Anthony's Pumpkin Patch, Prospect Ct

The Pumpkin Patch in the parking lot of St Anthony's Church in Prospect Ct opened today, and will be open until Oct 31, Daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

The Pumpkin Patch is a new ministry called Hope, created by St Anthony's Church to assist any Prospect resident, regardless of religious affiliation.

The purpose of the Hope ministry is to provide financial, educational, practical and spiritual guidance to help people in need.

In addition to the pumpkin sales, there will also be:

  •  
    •  
      • Hayrides

      • A Bounce House

      • Obstacle Course

      • Crafts

      • Games

      • Face Painting

      • Storytime

      • Food and beverages

 

All proceeds from the Pumpkin Patch are donated directly to the Hope ministry.

The pumpkins are supplied by a non-profit organization based in New Mexico, which provides employment to Native American Indians in need.

Ed, with all the negativity we see in the news this is always a great reminder that there are those out there doing good things.  I remember taking my daughter when she was young to buy pumpkin's in the fall...nice memories.
