This sign caught my eye at a stop light as I was heading home in Sharon, MA today.
Maybe the town is going to start offering household tips on the street signs in Sharon, MA!

Hi Nina....they want the faucets to stop dripping.....what about the people who water their lawns at night during a water ban????
Nina ... I love the sign ... I love the concept ... and I think that street sign culture is really a urban art form! Thanks for sharing ....
Kristen, what's even funnier is this summer my husband saw a sign that said something like "Take Shorter Showers. 11 minutes". As the summer wore on, the minutes changed from 11 to 7 to 5... I have to see if I can get a photo of that sign!
Hi, Barbara...just commented on Ginny Gorman's blog about water shortages that I had seen someone tonight with their inground sprinklers on, and we're expected a nor'easter tonight!
nina...anything to get people to think about waste of water...Barbara needs to stop watering her lawn too!!
What about all the fire hydrant flushing? Sounds like an opportunity for residents to have a regulated lawn watering service that also accomplishes fire hydrant flushing. Instead of those long intervals between flushings and all the discolored water in the house, there is regular movement through city/town regulated sprinkler systems.
That's great. Every little step counts. i sure hope it has a lasting impact.
Nina - I have never seen one like that sign in my area. Water conservation is one of the big issues nowadays. I saw one house that had the sprinkler system going on while it was raining.
Interesting. I often wonder who is responsible for this type of sign. They seem so random.
Nina, I've never seen a sign like this one before...thanks for sharing your photo! :)
