Fireworks and Torch Light Parade for New Year’s Eve in Breckenridge, Colorado at the Breckenridge Ski Resort
Want to ring in the New Year in style this year? Come to Breckenridge, Colorado to see one of the most spectacular New Year’s Eve celebrations in the country. The festivities kick off at 6pm with the annual Torch Light Parade as skiers and snowboarders from the Breckenridge Ski Resort wind down the mountain from the top of Peak 9 in a luminary procession to The Village at Breckenridge.
Following the Torch Light Parade, everyone moves to the Riverwalk Center for the sounds of YAMN, one of Colorado’s premier progressive jam bands. The doors open at 7pm and the band hits the stage at 8pm. Prepare yourself for a wild ride as these guys are pure entertainment. This is an ALL AGES concert and one not to be missed. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the show.
As if right on cue, the band will take a short break right at 9pm, just in time for the Town of Breckenridge Fireworks display. The fireworks will be launched between Peaks 8 and 9 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort and should be visible from almost everywhere in downtown Breckenridge. This is an event not to be missed, as the fireworks display over the ski area is always impressive.
