The Costume Closet is located on the old Malaga Cove school grounds in Palos Verdes Estates, near Palos Verdes School District Headquarters. The Costume Closet is a project of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Council of PTAs and is supported by volunteers which help keep this non profit running. The original purpose of this organization was to help support the community's needs for theatrical costuming for it's local schools, and after twenty years, it has developed into a full party event supplier.
The Costume Closet has a huge inventory selection includes period clothing, costumes both children and adults, and even animal costumes. You can find just about everything here. It has all sorts of accessories from hair pieces and hats down to shoes. The rental pricing cannot be beat, and rentals are for a week. They do not accept credit cards, only check or cash. It is always a good idea to reserve your costume early, as they seem to go fast. So if your doing a school project, dressing for Halloween, or just a fun costume party this is the place to visit. You can find just about anything here, and you will be able to complete it with all the accessories.
The Costume Closet hours of operation are: Monday, Thursday and Friday from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and Wednesday - 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday - 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (except 3-day weekends).
