League City, Houston, Galveston, do you want to cycle in Texas

Cycle                                                                                                                                                                       Do you want to cycle, well be prepared, you don't get a choice in the matter. We all must cycle it just is something that has happened since man has been around and come to think of it, way before man was ever here. No I don't mean on a bicycle or motorcycle but life itself. We all have our times of ups and downs, some of these we create but others are thrust on us. It's the ones we all must face together that I want to talk about. The times we call economic bad times, bear markets, or worldwide meltdowns.

 Prosperity

We have forever gone through times of prosperity and times were the economy just seems to be out to get us all. Even some of these we do to ourselves and others just raise their head up and bite us all or make us all giddy. These times of prosperity or gloom can last for long or short time intervals, but one thing is for sure, they will happen. We cannot or at least have never been able to stop these from occurring (perhaps one day we will figure it out, I wouldn't hold my breath on that though).

 Lemonade

What we can do is make lemonade. We can take the bad times and learn from them or even sometimes find those silver linings that these bad times will give us. We can find these opportunities but only if we look and create them, they rarely just happen. We need to find the capacity to change what we have done, to re-examine methodology but most important we have to do something, take charge, open our minds to new ideas and be willing to work. We can either take control and create change to our benefit, or let change control us.

The Status quo will get you what you probably are expecting a chance to gripe about how things are, instead of how they can be. Will it always work, no, but then you just need to re-examine and re-adjust. Kentucky Fried Chicken was the creation of a man who failed many times but never quit, he never let the bad times dictate the final outcome but was willing to keep trying till he finally succeeded. The silver lining is there if you keep looking (working).
