I have been meaning to post this drawing that appeared in our local Newspaper the day after election.  As much as I found it funny, I found that it had even more truth to it.

You can blame the politicians for everything. It starts in our own house, keeping it square, in budget, on task.

Our vote is our voice, and we are often hasty with our anger, but no matter how you slice it we still have the best system to change what we don't agree with.

Hmmm...George, I'm surmising that there are at least 2000 people who are angry right now that they didn't vote, somewhere in this state...2000 people who could have made this election debaucle drag out a whole lot longer....

But there is much truth in the simplest cartoons.

George that is a really good one. The only problem is that you may need to stand there all day filling it in order for it to work.

How funny!

I filled my prescription but I don't know if the medicine dispensed is going to take care of the ailment. :)

George, I just wanted to congratulate you and your firm.  I saw in The Commercial Record that:

New Britain-based McCue Mortgage Co. was recently ranked the top mortgage lender by the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) for the third quarter.

McCue Mortgage was also recognized as one of the top producers of the CHFA's CT FAMLIES program, a refinance program for Connecticut homeowners who anticipate becoming or are delinquent on their mortgage obligations, according to a statement. The CT FAMLIES program provides qualified homeowners the option of refinancing their mortgage into more affordable 30-year, fixed-rate loans.

Andrew you are right it starts with us, and we can't complain if we don't vote or keep on sending the people that we are complaining about back to Washington.

Steve, all I can say is Amen to that.

William, I agree in fact I would say there are probably a whole lot more than that for either candidate, that wished they had take the time to vote.

Lenn, I would say that would be a good way to put it.

Andrea, glad you enjoyed it :)

Bill, that would be a lot of anger to get rid of if it required all day ........... LOL

Judi, if it doesn't you can always change Doctor's ...... LOL

Gail, thank you for making me aware of that because I did not see the article.

We have been one of CHFA's leading Lenders for a long time, and those are loans that wee keep in house and service.  The Ct Families are a tough loan, but we have been doing a number of them lately, in fact I have to get on the phone once I finish this comment, with a Borrower that I am working right now with on a Ct Families Loan.

Again thank you for making me aware of the article, I have to ask Bill McCue for a copy.

Same therapy was required up here too George. It is sort of funny. Maybe more people understood the meaning of voiting when it is spelt out this way!

George,

I believe that we, in Connecticut, are the only state who re-elected or elected career politicians.  I was very disappointed in the whole thing. I was impressed that two of the politicians who were running for office, stated that they would take no salary if elected for that term.  How did people in Ct miss that?

While on vacation in Florida, in late October, I was very impressed by what they had for commercials and debates.  Maybe, we just were not hit hard enough, here, to make the change.  Florida, definitely, was.  The Florida homes, that were selling for $450,000, are now selling for $110,000.  They get it and they did elect a newbee to represent them in Washington, DC
