Do you have an ActiveRain New Years Resolution? I do....
Not something that ActiveRain can do differently but about how you are going to use ActiveRain in 2011?
- Not use ActiveRain? Is ActiveRain a bad habit to break?
- Use ActiveRain more? Is ActiveRain a good habit?
- Start an ActiveRain Outside blog?
- Make your ActiveRain Outside blog show up better in the search engines?
- Start using ActiveRain? Here's an ActiveRain invitation for members of the real estate industry who are not members of ActiveRain.
- Become a RainMaker so you can use ActiveRain / Your ActiveRain Outside blogs to talk to consumers? Upgrade to a RainMaker account
- Meet more ActiveRain members in person?
- Reach out and touch someone?... make phone calls to more ActiveRain Members?
- Get on an ActiveRain MasterMind Team - the team I am on is full except we need a new member invited by one of us, not in our area. My invite link again...
My ActiveRain New Years Resolution for 2011 is NO MEMBERS ONLY POSTS!
What is a Members Only post? ActiveRain is a network for the real estate industry... since day one (?) there was the ability to write posts and make them non public. Or I assume Members Only posts were possible on Day One.. I joined on Day 30-Something and posted my first blog post on August 11, 2006, "Members Only."
Who can be a member of ActiveRain? Real estate agents, home inspectors, home stagers, loan officers... it's broad but it is not open to the public. The public can read public content. ActiveRain gets lots of public traffic.
I got a head start... on my ActiveRain New Years Resolution for 2011 I believe (but I could be wrong) that a post done for Bob Stewart's Internet Lead Conversion Challenge was my only Members Only Post in 2010:
Internet lead conversion it's me(Members Only)
That was January 2010 and I believe it was my only Members Only post in 2010. I tell in the post why I wrote it Members Only... partly because the program is a company program. More though the language of lead generation makes me a little uncomfortable, yet when I read Ben Kinney's eBook and wrote about it for a later challenge I did not feel the need to hide "Lead generation" language behind a cloak of secrecy....
I actually think there is another Members Only post I wrote in 2010. I can not find it. I think I wanted to quote something in a Members Only post and thought posting my post Members Only was the only way to do it. No more.
My ActiveRain New Years Resolution for 2011 is to write NO (Members Only) posts
Neither of the links below are Members Only...
Using ActiveRain to talk to consumers not about them
What's Said On ActiveRain Stays on ActiveRain? Members Only posts for confidentiality? Don't count on it.
