A child in the Atlanta area has been abducted. Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I figured, the more that see it, the better. Per the report, they might be headed to Mexico.

Please, everyone, keep your eyes open for a 1997 green Mazda 626 (four doors), Georgia tag AET5960.

UPDATE: I'm happy to say that the girl in question is here in the Atlanta area with her mother. It turns out that shw was never abducted to begin with - but she WAS in danger.
HOWEVER: The young girl had been abused and molested by the her mother's ex-boyfriend. He is still on the loose.

Hi Nancy...I once posted online about an attempted kidnapping in my area, so that people could be on the lookout for the suspect. Several Realtors asked me to take it down because it reflected negatively on my town.

That was a long while back, but I regret listening to their advice. This stuff happens everywhere, and if we can't help protect our kids as neighborhood experts than what good are we in the community?
