Recently I read that Amber Alerts have come to Facebook. What a great way to spread the word when there's a missing child in any of our communities. There are 53 pages - one for each state plus the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. This is great because you can simply like the page for your state and thus only get alerts for your area. Even better, the alerts will come directly to your newsfeed, which makes it easy to repost and share them with those who haven't yet liked an Amber Alert page. Kudos to Facebook for creating these pages. And to help get the word out, they have put up 50 million free impressions for ads.
Ready to like the page for your state? Facebook has made it really easy by creating one main Amber Alert page that links to the 53 local pages. Click the image below to be taken directly there.
