What do you know about the Lone Star State?

  • If Texas were a country, it would be the 10th largest Country in the world.
  • It would have the 12th  largest economy based on GDP in the world.
  • Texas would be the 5th largest oil and gas producing country in the world.
  • Texas is home to the largest inland port, in the World

Not just praries and cowboys, Texas is a modern metropolis.
Out of the 10 most populated cities in the U.S., 3 are in Texas; Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.

Texas is home to more fortune 500 companies than any other state in the Union.
Texas has the largest population growth rate of any state; we're growing by over 1000 people a day.
4 out of 5 Texans live in the Texaplex: Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio and Austin.

What makes Texas so attractive?

  • Low cost of living
  • Stable and growing housing market
  • No state income tax
  • No state tax on goods in transit

In 2009, over half of all jobs created in the U.S., were created in Texas.

Fact is, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, since 2005 to the present, 80 percent of all the private sector jobs created in these United States of America...were created right here in Texas.

Are YOU thinking about moving out or way? Give me a call. Texas is also known as a mighty friendly State, and I will be more than happy to show you around!

Every buyer closing I had last year was a relocation buyer!!  They are flocking her all right!  I just wish some of the transplants knew how to be friendly too, and blend in...

Donna,

That is an amazing statement. While I had a couple of relocation's they were predominantly people already in the area that were moving. Sounds like you have a good handle on capturing those relo clients.

I have visited a few times..the last time was in San Antonio...fierce pride is how I would describe TExans...really, I think that they think Texas is its own country!

I spoke with a seller just today who is in Texas on a new job, he said they cant hire enough people for the jobs at his company, so things must be doing well down there!

Pat,

You are right about that. We had red cross, adjusters ect here after hurricane Ike several years back. These same adjusters, red cross workers ect had been to New Orleans after Katrina. I would constantly hear from them the night and day difference in attitude between the 2 places.

There is very much so a pride and we can take care of things attitude here among the Texans.
