LOL

When I was pretty new to the city, I actually called to inquire about tickets. I can't remember who I called or where, but they told me that if I had to ask how much they are, it may not be an event for me. :-0

Hi Tom! Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Yes, tickets are a little expensive but it is for a great cause (cancer research) and every year CCB sells out. It is one amazing party! The 100 women that make up the committee work extremely hard for a full year to put this event on. Many of them are my good friends so I know how much time and energy goes into it's planning.

Most people underwrite which at the lowest sponsor level would be two tickets for $2,500. My husband and I try to go as often as we can. I can't wait to hear Brad Paisley sing "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishing Song)". It is a hilarious song!

Hope to see you at an upcoming North Dallas Happy Hour!

Wow, I have not heard of this event. There are so many worthy causes out there and it's nice to see some of them supported by excellent events. Thanks for the info.

Hi Courtney- How are things down in the Houston area?

Cattle Baron's Ball raises funds for a great cause and it is the largest single event fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Over $1 miilion was raised from last year's event alone. I am sure even more money will be raised this year. Thanks for your thoughts!
