IN-N-OUT Burger is coming to Collin County Texas in not ONE, but TWO locations!!

Wahooo!!! Yippee!! Ay yi yi yiiii!

Wait...why am I so excited???

Honestly....I can't tell you, other than when ever I hear ANYONE talk about the burger joint it is always surrounded by this "oh my gosh - it's sooooooooooo good!" kind of attitude. As if IN-N-OUT was the Holy Grail of Burger places.

Which leads me to ask the Burger Connoisseurs of the World....WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT IN-N-OUT BURGERS?? Do they live up to the hype? Worth the cash you shell out for one??

The two Collin County locations are:

1. 190 E. Stacy Rd, Allen, TX 75002
2. 2798 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX 75034

Oh, and a big SORRY to all the other Texans...according to their website, these are the ONLY two locations in Texas. I've seen online that they might also be heading to Houston, but as of today these two restaurants are the only ones listed.

One thing is for certain: I WILL go and try out the place. I'm not one to just pass by a new, much talked about place without seeing what all the hype is about.

It's kind of like my own "Hippocratic Oath"...the Hippocratic Oath of Bloggers. If there was such a thing I think it would say something like: "I solumnly swear to check out any and all new businesses, parks or venues in my community and then write a review in a prompt manner in an effort to educate my readers on what they either SHOULD or SHOULD NOT waste their time on." Kinda like how a doctor can't just be out at dinner and see someone choking at the table next to him and NOT try to save their life.

But back to the topic at hand: give me the low-down on the IN-N-OUT BURGERS!! This non-vegetarian Texan wants to know the scoop.

I'm thinking expectation is going to be better then participation.  Living in East Dallas we are walking distance from Angry Dog, best burger in Dallas.

Yes, ALOT of craziness going around In-And-Out. I may just have to try but I'll never stand in line for food. So I must probably wait for 6-12 months after they are opened!

In-N-Out is outstanding and has a strong cult following.  The menu is so simple - basically three burger meals.  The french fries confuse people because they taste like potatoes, not salt--they're hand cut on the premises.   You might want to do some research on the In-N-Out "secret" menu to explore the magic of neopolitan shakes and and animal style. In-N-Out employees make more than their fast food counterparts so the service is helpful and efficient.   Absolutely worth the price of admission -- out here it's cheaper than McDonald's, Burger King, or Carls, Jr.
