The brain is a remarkable thing that most people take for granted. If you you tell yourself that you can’t do something your brain will do everything in it’s power to make sure you don’t. On the other hand if you keep a good positive mental attitude your brain will help you achieve your desires.
I can’t remember where I once heard the story of identical twin brothers that had been interviewed. Each brother had taken a different path in their lives and wound up 180 degrees apart.
The first brother was incarcerated and when asked why he got to this point in his life he responded “ Are you kidding me? My father was an alcoholic that beat us every night, how else was I supposed to end up?” The second brother, a successful doctor was asked the same question. His answer? “ Are you kidding me? My father was an alcoholic that beat us every night, how else was I supposed to end up?”
So is your glass going to be half full or half empty? It’s up to you how you want it.
Hi Joe,
I need one of those IBM Watson computers on my IPhone. It'll happen.
Alan- Good to hear
Barb- I wouldn't expect anything else
Loyd- May I borrow yours when your done?
Joe~ Cant tell you how many times I say this to my children!! I need to let them read this blog maybe they will believe it coming from someone else! :0)
Karen- Great to finally meet you today.
Melissa-Start em early. I was at career day last week at my high school and made the students pull out a piece of paper and showed them how to write goals. Good stuff.
Joe,
Go ahead and fill it on up. Positive attitude creates positive results and surrounding yourself with positive people help speed up the results.
I try to stay focused on the positive...it's easier to keep smiling that way. ;-) Have a great day Joe!
Navona- Adequate is like mediocre and theres nothing mediocre about you.
Anita- I did Anita. I guess if you stay positive all of the time it's hard to forget to smile. I heard a lady bashing the current market last night. I told her it could be worse, she said "how". I told her sh could be selling real estate in Japan. She stopped complaining.
Good post, Joe. And, those of us on ActiveRain know we are over-flowing. I first saw your post on Arleen Montford's blog and came over to say Hi.
