How to Know You Made the Correct Choice?
This post is inspired by some personal experiences as well as a post by Eric Kodner of Minnetonka, MN. Eric writes about a friend who's broker isn't changing with the times and is still stuck in past. In fact my comment to Eric's post was left in the form of a question "does the broker still use a listing book?" I think the answer that we all had was similar in that if you are not being appreciated where you are, why would you stay. So my suggestion was for the agent to move on to greener pastures.
It really hit home for me personally in that I recently "moved on" from a brokerage that I was with, no problems, no issues, just time to move on. I took a leap of faith to boot. I chose a company that I believe is on the cutting edge of where real estate is going in the future. As most of you reading this know I am a tech lover, if I could be linked up, wired, connected, on the grid 24/7 I would. Of course my wife has something to say about that, luckily.

Now let me tell you what really closed the deal and put my mind at ease. I had made the change and was still getting my feet wet, wading through the paper work and emails and everything that comes with changing brokerages.
