In honor of its Fourth Anniversary, and as a way of saying thanks to the community, Fifty Fifty Brewing Company in Truckee is offering beers for $1 all day on Thursday May 26, 2011. Owners Alicia and Andy Barr opened Fifty Fifty Brewing Company in 2007 and the place has been a local hang out and a tourist attraction ever since.

Fifty Fifty Brewing Company has had many awards and accolades for their famous brews. Base Camp Golden Ale, Manifesto Pale Ale, Rock Slide IPA, Donner Party Porter are year round craft beers that guarantee to quench your thirst with delight. Other delectable seasonal beers currently on tap are 2010 Eclipse Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, Totality, Truckee Blond Reserve.

The lunch & dinner menus at Fifty Fifty Brewing Company are quite extensive. My personal favorites are Garlic Fries and Bourbon Grilled Shrimp. My husband prefers Blue Cheese burger with hickory smoked bacon and blue cheese crumbles.
