This park isn’t the biggest at 4.2 acres, but some of the trees certainly might be.  Named for the giant eucalyptus trees by area residents, Big Trees Park was first opened in 1971 to serve the surrounding neighborhood of Wagner Farms. It's also close to Coventry and Rancho Arroyo.

Like most neighborhood parks in Livermore, you’ll find picnic tables, barbeque pits and of course, a tot lot.

There's a reason that most municipalities demand that park land be supplied by developers when adding subdivisions.  Quality of life is greatly enhanced.  Your park sounds like it serves it residents well ... and provides beauty besides.

Nice spotlight on Big Trees Park Karen. I enjoy highlighting the area parks. We are certainly blessed in that category living in the Tri-Valley.

Karern, this sounds like a great place to visit. It reminded me when I was a kid and my father used to take the family into these types of parks and he would bring the Grill and we had fun:)
