While trying to catch-up on some of my favorite AR bloggers this morning, I ran across this post from  Sally and David Hanson, Keller Williams  agents from Brookfield, WI, an area close to Milwaukee.

Sally and David always seem to be busy and giving of themselves in one way or another.  This post proves they've been at it again.

I thought their suggestion regarding the donation of time-shares was a novel one and something well worth passing on.

Should you have questions as to how to accomplish this, please contact Sally and David Hanson from Keller Williams.  I'm sure they would be more than happy to assist in any way possible.

Red Day May 14 Brookfield, WI Red Day ....our own celebration we call...Taste Toast & Tunes was an outstanding Success !  RED for non- Keller folks is  Renew Energize and Donate....and that is what we did at the Brookfield Best Western Midway Motor Lodge .cake..with food, drink, music and a great silent auction. A tarot card reader and Caricature artist rounded out the entertainment and were very popular !
One of the prizes that got a lot of attention....and a way that lots of people who have timeshares can pay it forward...is to do what we did.
auction  Our timeshare offers a "two for" trade at various times throughout the year. We trade our week and get two weeks in return. We donated one  of our weeks as an auction item for RED DAY.....a free week's vacation ...value dependent upon the location you choose and the organization benefiting from the auction gets a big kick in their fundraising...!Timeshare auction  This prize helped us to reach our goal for The Womens Center....and you too can use this "two for" offer to help the charity of your choice. If they aren't having an auction, a raffle might work...be sure you check with laws in your state governing these kinds of things....and then just feel good all over about paying it forward and giving where you live !

Hi Gene - What a great idea to share a time share with local non-profits one supports. Also, I like the credit card calculator on your side bar...great tool you are sharing with people!

Karen:  I thought Sally and David's idea novel too ... plus could spur some real brainstorming as to what could be "useful" for charities in the future.  Something good should come of this hopefully ...

Hope all is well out your way ... and you're finding homeowners in better footing??
