Summer is a great time of year. Most vacations are taken and family get togethers are all around us.
So, what is your favorite sound of summer. Kids laughing, Birds chirping, Frogs croaking?
Well, I will start it off. My favorite sound is the sound a mosquito makes right after I smash him on my arm....SILENCE!!!

On a more serious note, I love the sound of a Loon's call early in the morning!
The sounds of the whipper will. Not sure I spelled it right but you get the idea.
The sounds of my Grandkids laughing outside in the yard. I know they are happy and that is a great sound.
Funny but cruel Bill. My favorite sound is the noise made by silverware on china outside. I really love that sound.

I love the sound of Summer rain on the roof, and the singing of the tree frogs at night!
William, I was going to say the sound of my motorcycle, but that's all year round...maybe a train off in the distance and at night.
My favorite sound of summer is hearing the oxygen come from my mouth piece just as I'm about to hit that water, and dive to the depths that make me forget about everything else and remember the beauty of nature in the ocean.
I also love knocking off the mosquito. I like kids laughing and hearing the ping off the softball bomb.
I can't top the mosquito sound, but I love the sounds of the birds as they emerge with their new broods.
The sound of my golden jumping in the pool to cool off after a quick walk and getting too warm.

William, I am with you--the sound of silence! Too much noise pollution in society today. I am curently on vacation at a lake where there are many mosquitoes. I squashed one about 10 minutes ago. Ah, silence!
I wish I could do the same thing with the gnats without breaking my nose.
