Every so often you start reading a real estate description that causes a chuckle due to a misplaced word or unintentional spelling error that transforms the intended meaning.
And sometimes you hit the mother lode in one listing!
Pretty warmed 2 story colonial. Great start. Pretty warmed because the a/c is busted? Inquiring minds want to know!
Specious island. My favorite! By changing one letter, you have turned a roomy kitchen island into its absolute opposite!
Much brighter sunlight. Hmmm, that does sound special. It also sounds like it could fry you to a crisp! Or is this listing in a distant galaxy on a planet revolving around a sun that is much more powerful than ours?
Restaurant is closed. What a difference a "d" makes. I know the area and am pretty sure that the agent wanted to point out that restaurants are near by. But to people unfamiliar with the area, they might think that a lot of home cooking would be in their future if they bought this home!
For Pete's sake, people, we are getting paid to professionally market someones most valuable possession! A little proof reading would go a long way. Or at least run it by one of the office secretaries if you can't proof your own work because you were playing hangman under your desk with your best friend during 4th grade spelling class.
