Fun for the whole family will be had this weekend in Beeton, Ontario as Beeton "goes to town" celebrating their 125th Anniversary!
Events, Activities and Entertainment for any age should keep all members of your family entertained as you soak up some great small town atmosphere in this quaint little town.
I first became aware of the town of Beeton in the early 1990's when my dart team entered a tournament at the Beeton Royal Canadian Legion.
When Helen and I were looking for a home north of Toronto, after an exhaustive search, we happened upon this beautiful small town. We fell in love with the "Big Trees", a rarity in most of the GTA, and found a home here. Though we moved four years ago and are now technically in rural Alliston, we live about three miles out of town and consider ourselves residents of Beeton, Tottenham and Alliston.
If you are looking for some wholesome family entertainment today and tomorrow, consider being part of the festivities and perhaps you will understand what Helen and I fell in love with.

Wanda, I was there yesterday for a short while, but sneaked off to our cottage to spend some time with Helen and Alec and get some needed R&R
Chris - This sounds like a wonderful little town and a fun event. I hope they serve lots of honey treats and the 125th anniversary of Beeton
Chris. Some might say these small town events can't hold a candle to their big city counter parts. Of course those saying it don't know what they're missing. It's all about the charm. Hope you enjoy your Beeton Ontario event!
Chris - I hope they are having better weather than we are it rained here yesterday and today, the sun keeps on making attempts to peek through but is not having much luck
