DAWG will pay $100 in adoption fees on any adult cat that has been at the facility for more than 60 days. The shelter is now accepting applications and has many felines to choose from in various colors, sizes and personalities that are waiting to be placed in permanent, loving homes. SAN CLEMENTE
MEOWW! CALLING ALL CAT LOVERS!!!! For $9 your home can come alive with the quick-footed antics of a happy cat. The nonprofit Pet Project Foundation is helping to discount cat adoption fees in August at the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter. Adoption fees will be $9 per feline, and PPF also will give away a wide range of free pet supplies to individuals and families adopting a cat or kitten. The price for cats is typically $100. With kitten season in full swing, shelter staff and PPF volunteers worry about the stress of the many homeless cats awaiting adoption at the shelter. Cats under stress typically develop respiratory illnesses. PPF will provide a full "kitty starter kit" to families who adopt a cat during the promotion, including supplies such as a litter box and food bowls. For additional information on PPF or the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter, visit petprojectfoundation.org or contact Becker at 949-240-0243 or pawlajb@cox.net. Save a life, I promise it will bring a joy to your life you never even knew you could experience.
