Westside Chef’s Charity Throwdown Comes to Katy Texas
The second annual Westside Chef’s Throwdown will be held on Saturday September 24, 2011 at La Centerra at Cinco Ranch and the address is 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd. Katy Texas 77494. The event will begin at 1:00 PM and last until 4:00 PM. Westside Chef’s will be demonstrating their culinary creativity while raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). There will be judges. The key ingredient this year is cheese. Several area restaurants are scheduled to participate plus in attendance will be several high-profile chefs.
If you or family want to taste the delicious food then the cost will be: Family (2 adults & 2 Children) $50; online wristband for one $20.00 or else $25 at the door; $10 child wrist band (children under 2 are free).Some activities will be free such as coke –cola and water. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Any funds raised by this event will go to the MDA summer camps. MDA mission is to find a cure for over 40 different neuromuscular diseases.
I spoke to some folks who attended tis event last year and they all raved about how good the food was and how much fun they had especially at a charitable event.
