The Long Term Housing Market in Antioch Ca

People often express concern about the Long Term Housing Market when Buying a Home.  They understand that prices are at an amazing low, but they are scared they are going to go lower.  I have heard these fears for years.

Well today I was going over some old Post, including some market reports and I came across this Housing Market Report from July 2009.   Price Per SF was at $103.00 in June, up from $102.00 in May of 2009.

So now about 2 years latter what is the Housing Market at in Antioch Ca?  In August the average price per SF was $100.00 and in July it was $101.00.

Yes on the surface it is down a little.  These trends have been going up a little and down a little for the last 3 years.  Within the Antioch Ca Housing Market there are all sorts of sub markets and trends.

Each Market is different.  This area took a price beating early, but we have been relatively stable for a while.  With interest rates at an unheard of low Now is the Time to Buy.

Take a look at these Antioch Homes and let us know what type of home you are interested in - In Antioch or Beyond and we will get a custom list of homes and more information on the area.

Gene, it is starting to appear that most markets are kind of "stuck" in the same point they were a year or even 2-3 years ago from reading market reports here in AR.  I wonder if that means we might be near the time to start moving up again?  Last time our market was stuck for 2-4 years we then jumped the next 4 years.  Great post, hope it gets some buyers off the fence.  --Krystal

Hi Gene -

Good post with good information!  I agree with Krystal we need to get buyers off the fence.  Now is a great time to buy!

When I looked at the numbers I was pleased at how well we are doing.  I knew it was not bad, but I thought it would have been another 5% or so over the 2 years.
