Parade of HomesThe Greater Knoxville Parade of Homes 2011 starts tomorrow! What is the Parade of Homes? This is a multiple site tour of new homes in the Greater Knoxville area. And it is FREE to the public!

Brought to us by The Home Builders Association of Greater Knoxville and General Shale Brick, and sponsored by ORNL Federal Credit Union, the Parade of Homes will be held on weekends starting September 30, October 1-2; 7-9; 14-16. All homes represented in the Knoxville Parade of Homes will be open to the public from noon to 5 pm on those dates.

This years homes will be found in Knox, Blount, Loudon, and Anderson counties. A Parade of Homes magazine is available at ORNL Federal Credit Union locations.

Showcased homes range in price from $144,000 to $1,649,000. There's something for all price ranges and tastes.

Chiara, Parade of homes is a fun thing to do. Few years ago builder's association in our area sponsored a tour bus and provided many food for the visitors who tour all the model homes in the community. Have a productive event.

Gina, I agree. Before entering real estate, I would still tour the Parade of Homes -- especially if one of the homes was one my husband worked on (he's done work for contractors that would showcase a home)

Kwee, what a great idea to have a tour bus! I'm going to have to pass that on.
