Boston Red Soxs take it in 4 games

It saddens me to write this, but our new World Series Champions are the Boston Red Soxs. It is not because of them that I am sad. It is because that it took a total of 4 games to decide who the better team was. And in a 7 game series, winning in 4 means the other team did not play well.

Lets break it down. Boston had 2 blowouts and 2 one run games. No simplier than that. It was close in Denver but in Boston, the Red Soxs crushed it. It just goes to show you that you have to show up to play the game and you can dial it in.

So, I tip my hat to you Boston, once again, you stand on top of the mountain. Congratulations to all the Red Soxs faithful.

Great job for winning the   in 4 games.

Goes to show you the American League is the best league.  Now, if we can just work on the DGH Rule

Well, This blog was very easy Boston Rocks.  I had hopes the Rockies would have taken one game at least.

Dave, I am not so sure that I would concede the American League in being the best. Games in the American League were blowouts where games in the national park were close. That says a lot about the parks and the DH rule.

Congratulation Red Sox.  Guess the sponsors and ticket sellers are unhappy.  Only 4 games.  Seven games would be a lot more profitable, no?

Hats off to the Sox & their faithful.  I wish the Rockies would have given them a better run... maybe next year.

Neither the Rocks or Fox could stop the Sox!  It will be interesting to see what next season brings.  In the meantime Go Chiefs!

Danny - I wish they would have went more than 4 games.  It just makes it more exciting and everyone likes the underdog. (unless it is your city playing)

Meredith, no one could hold a sock to them.

Rick, you got your wish.

Though I'm glad the Sox won, I was hoping the series would go longer too. At least I have the nailbiter coming up this week to look forward to,  Patriots - Colts
