Pumpkins in the Park 5K

Fleet Street is one of the sponsors for this year’s 12th Annual Pumpkins in the Park 5K where runners of all ages will enjoy the winding course in Lincoln Park.
Registration this week is $35.00 per person. This event is to assist in the Parkways Foundation where they invest in Chicago’s parks to enrich the communities through historical preservation, environmental initiatives, and more.
The event begins at 2:30 p.m. for the kids race and at 4:00 for the 5K Start.
The location is at Lincoln Park’s South Field House at Stockton Drive and LaSalle Street.

Today is Friday, October 14, 2011, and so this is your last day to pick up and/or register for the Pumpkins in the Park 5K Race at Fleet Street Sports – Piper’s Alley between 10:00 and 8:00 p.m.
