A Veteran's Day Tribute
As a Mother of a little boy and a Step Mother of a teenage boy, nothing would make me more proud than if they decided to serve their Country. The oldest is currently participating in an army cadets program and could possibly make a career out of it. Of course the younger adores his big Brother and would potentially follow his lead.
BUT, the sadness of losing a young life to war is not something I would ever want to endure and my heart goes out to the families of these brave individuals who do not come home from these war zones. Today we honor Veterans. So sad that many can not be personally thanked for their service today!
First and foremost, I want to wish everyone a Happy Veterans Day. I know many are working today like any other day but I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a good day.
I want to also give special thanks to today to any AR veterans who have served our country as well a to those loved ones who are still serving today. God bless them and I wish for their safe return home soon.
