Incorporating Video into Your Business

By
Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Hometown Realty

I have started video-blogging and video emailing and it has been amazingly productive. I use a site called "My Video Talk" which has several different layers of service. You can simply subscribe to video email, which is impressive itself, or you can expand to a complete package. This is the breakdown of the different components of the complete package and how I use them in my business:

- a video website (see www.CentralCoastRealEstate.tv as an example). With this website you can create relevant video content and post it on your own unique webpage. Excellent for talking about the market, trends, interesting topics specific to your area, etc.

- a video conference room that can hold up to 16 people. I use this to work with my buyers that live in different areas. I specialize in homes that tend to be vacation or retirement properties, so many of my clients live elsewhere. This enables me to "meet" with them with their home inspector, pest inspector, or other service provider without them actually being in my city. I also use this for "panel" discussions in which I have a lender, mortgage broker, inspector, or other specialists present during a "board meeting" in which my prospects and clients can register to be present and discuss issues with these professionals.

- a webinar software package. One use I have found for this is to have a description of the purchase contract and give explanations for what my out-of-town clients are signing. On one side of the screen is the purchase contract, and on another side of the screen is me explaining the contract. It creates a level of comfort with the contract that they don't have otherwise.

- a webshow. This is like a TV show on the web. You can have a specific airing time, or have it run 24 hrs a day in a revolving feed. You can discuss different topics during each show.

- video email. This is my favorite because I use it all the time. It is a simple package that enables my to record a video message and then send it to one or hundreds of people with the click of a button. I do a "pick of the week" every week where I select a property that I find is a really great value and then I feature it in my email. I have about 25% of my database watching it every week!

If you want more information about this video software, feel free to contact me. It is fairly inexpensive and very useful. I have clients contacting me every week as a result of these different applications. Wouldn't you like to have more interaction with your clients and be (literally) in front of their face every week?

I appreciate your sharing this information. It sounds like this is a pretty comprehensive software and I have added it to my list of things to check out.

One must have a stron constitution to venture into video lol My first video had to qualify for the "Worst Video in History" award. But, I wouldn't give anything for the experience.
