"Mental attitude is always at a fork in the path of life. It can travel the path of success or the road to failure," says Hill.
Your mental attitude is a key to anything you desire or wish to do.
"Your mental attitude attracts people to you in a friendly spirit of cooperation, or repels them, depending on whether your attitude is positive or negative; and you are the only person who can determine which it shall be," says Hill.
Hill lists several factors which control mental attitude: "A burning desire for the attainment of a definite purpose based upon one or more of the basic motives that activate all human endeavor. Close association with people who are themselves positive-minded and who inspire you to think and act in terms of a positive mental attitude. Autosuggestion, through which the mind is constantly given definite directives until it attracts only that which these directives call. Daily prayer in which you express gratitude for the blessings you already possess instead of asking for more; and requesting more wisdom with which to make better use of your present riches".
Remember you must control your mental attitude in order to be truly successful.
