RealEstateAgentLists.com = Spammers

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Northern Virginia Homes - FRANKLY REAL ESTATE Inc

Just got a spam sent by Michael Bond (Mike Bond) on the behalf of Teressa Taylor from TJW Homes. (how is that for Google food).

Anyhow, After speaking to Mike, he admitted to buying his list from realestateagentlists.com (realestateagentlists andreal estate agent lists).

The email that he sent had 5 of my agents on it and I was able to track the email addreses and they were NOT from MRIS (our local MLS provider) , they were not from NVAR, our local association and they were NOT scrapped from websites. How the hell they got them is beyond me.

I really wish that NVAR's board would address this issue and make recommendations that Realtor do NOT buy email addresses to send out spam notices about their liquidation sales.

The "just delete it" defense is flawed.

a) one is easy to delete, but when you start getting 10-30 and you can't see your legit emails, that is a problem.

b) spam filters will have to be made stronger, therefore more risk of legit emails getitng trashed. That results in LOST SALES

c) Cell phones get copies of emails and spams, but they don't have the filters on them Each beep from a spammer is a distraction and results in lost productivity.

Stop spamming!
