My Dog Ate My Homework

Okay, it was not really a dog and it was not really homework, but the concept was the same.

Sometimes our clients are busy doing other things or are distracted and prevented from getting back to us with our urgent needs.

My client really was prevented from getting to her assignment to look at listings which I had emailed to her and it really was the fault of her pet kitten.

Be patient with your clients.  As much as we wish that they did, their lives do not revolve around their agents.

Very true but we should stay in touch without bugging them.

Caring expertise...knowledge for you!

Great reminder...very often their absence from the "conversation" is about them.

Ron,

I guess that the kitten had to check out his friends on facebook.

Bud and Beth,

Indeed we should stay in touch, but we shoud realize that the method for staying in touch may vary with each client.

Ron,

When selling a house, sellers should give their complete and undivided attention to the job of selling.  What else could be more important?

Karen,

It may be the most important event in one's life.

Ron,

What kind of a house would the cat like to have, a tree house?

Veronica,

As long as there is a firehouse nearby a tree house would be fine.

Ron,

Maybe that cat should go out and get a job instead of getting in the way.

Ron,

It is the self centered real estate agent who does not understand your point.
