As our day unfolded it was free from appointments, deadlines or stress!
What a pleasant change of pace. We pondered what to do with this blank canvass.
Where should we go and what should we do? We leisurely had breakfast and lunch. We answered our email. Errands were run with no pressure for completion. Some projects around the house were completed. We cooked some meals ahead for the rest of the week.
Overall we accomplished a good bit. However, after serious consideration of what a more normal day contains, it is clear that the days with appointments, commitments and stress do tend to net more accomplishments. Go figure!
