I loved Abernathy Creek City Park as it wasn’t your typical park. Now, the kids weren’t too impressed as there weren’t any slides, swings or anything to play on. But, for me, this is the kind of park I would take my wife to for a date without the kids.
This park had a great open area and the table wasn’t your typical picnic table. It seemed like a table you would find in a nice restaurant. If I were to bring my wife here with a nice dinner, a bottle of sparkling cider and two candles it would make a perfect date night.
So, if you are looking for a romantic place to take someone on a date that is out of the ordinary, then I would take your special someone here. You want to impress, this is the park to take them to as it will be the date of all dates and one they will tell their friends about. Abernathy Creek City Park is located in downtown Oregon City.
