"Blessings overflow and are unceasing.  Be thankful......."

I recently noticed a lovely passage posted on the bulletin board in the pool area at the local YMCA in Carneys Point, NJ.  After a particularly strenuous swim, it caught my eye.  I now read it each and every time I exit the pool.  I hope it touches you, as it touches me. 

"Blessings overflow and are unceasing. Be thankful for robust
health to make life and work a joy, and joy abundant to pass on to others.  
Wealth enough to support your needs and those in need,
and determination to make each day better than the day before.
Boundless happiness to share with others. Strength and spirit
unbridled to overcome all obstacles, and unremitting optimism to
vanish all doubts. Grace to overcome and forgive any
transgressions. Patience to remain calm while the world races by.
Love enough to conquer all and a caring outstretched hand,
especially to young people. To know that in the central place of
every heart must be respect for the earth, peace for the people,
and delight in the good, forgiveness for past wrongs, and passion
for new beginnings. And above all, abiding thanks for all your gains,
miracle after miracle. To know that your final victories come from
hope and faith and love and gratitude, and the greatest of these is
gratitude… because it is the wellspring for all else. Unleash the
power within you so you can touch the lives of others in endless
