Improving Housing Market Areas Nearly Double
According to today’s article in DSNews, the number of housing markets showing improvement has nearly doubled. This month alone, over 40 metro areas were added to the growing list of areas showing an improving housing market according to First American and the National Association of Home Builders.
There are three determining factors in calculating
whether the housing market for a given area is
improving or not.
The three sets of independent (monthly) data are;
Employment growth via Census Bureau,
House price appreciation via Freddie Mac statistics,
Single-family housing growth via Census Bureau.
