Orlando's real estate resource

This week on The Home Team Radio Show we will once again be revisiting property tax. With House Speaker Marco Rubio now actively campaigning for something other than the amendment he voted for AND a commission which meets every 20 years suggesting yet somethig else, this issue has never looked more complicated.

We will be visiting insurance and learning nhow rates will be going up yet again - and a quiet hurricane season is partly to blame!

As if all of that wasn't enough, we have stories on Americans still feeling buying a home is a great financial decision; an influx of foreign investors taking advantage of the weak Dollar and something on States battling insurance companies.

We even have something on the mortgage insurance business as some of those companies start to get concerned about the industry.

All this plus your calls on 407 916 5400 or toll free from outside the Greater Orlando area on 1-866-916-5400.

The Home Team Radio Show - every Sunday at Noon Eastern on 540WFLA in Central Florida and worldwide at http://www.540wfla.com/

Kathleen - a quiet season with a number of storms receiving names they shouldn't have received, makes the rates go up.

I am interested in hearing what Rubio has to say.  I am glad at least someone is in the corner of the taxpayer.

I hope you gave Rubio some advice on how to solve this property tax issue.  I am seeing several grass roots efforts that seem like better solutions than the Florida legislature came up with.

It was an interesting debate. This story has lots of room for further complication before we get to January. Thanks as ever for your comments dan.
