Here's some ideas for "Best Practices". I know there is many other ideas feel free to add to my list.
- Wear your name badge.
- Remember the #1 rule in sales is Great Customer Service. This will set you apart from other sales people.
- Always be on time
- Get along with your fellow REALTORS®
- Return phone calls promptly
- Don't be afraid to ask for business
- Set yourself apart from the competition
- Follow up, Follow up, Follow up
- Implement a sundown rule
- No excuses, please! Just apologize and move on.
- Have a referral buddy
- Have at least 10-15 referral sources
- Rotate the list as you develop leads
- Remove referrals that are inactive
- Create a customer databas and call/email/mail 90 days after closing and 1 year anniversary
This is some good habits to get into doing, and it will pay off in the long run. This will make everyone happy!
