Fort Constitution New Castle New Hampshire
Fort Constitution is a historical site located in New Castle NH and is open to the public. The fort is rich in history, most notably for back in December of 1774, when Paul Revere rode to Portsmouth from Boston to warn the colonists of the British Governments plans to reinforce what was then known as Fort William and Mary. The colonists ended up raiding the fort and successfully took all or most of the supplies. Many people actually think that this was one of the first battles of the American Revolution.
