If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend head to Kemah and enjoy music, the outdoors and great Cajun food!
Starting this Friday, TODAY- Sunday, take the family and enjoy $2.00 a pound crawfish! This year’s crawfish festival has been revamped with more crawfish service, more vendors, more activities for kids and a wonderful music lineup!
Kemah is bringing the BEST farm raised crawfish from Louisiana and will be handled by James Wimberley, the Cajun King of Cookers. James has been cooking crawfish for over 35 years, so he has become an expert in boiling and preparing crawfish for others to enjoy. James is one of the top boilers at Festival International in Lafayette, festivals from Texas to Alabama, and has catered at the Louisiana Governor’s Mansion.
The festival starts today at 12 and ends at at 10 pm. Saturday 12-10pm and Noon to 6 PM Sun.

If you are interested in crawfish you will not be disappointed with the food selection. There's more food to enjoy at the Kemah Crawfish Festival than great crawfish! Cajun cuisine grew out of the bayou culture, where people with a love of great food and good times had to make do with what was available.
