We all know that Tuesday April 17th is "tax day", but hold on.  I just received a call from someone telling me that their "accountant" just call, on the eve of tax day, and asked for a copy of the birth certificate of their child.  Funny thing, these folks have been going to the same accountant for several years now.  Why the request now, on the day before tax day?

OK folks, my children are long out of the house, so I don't get any requests like this.  Do you?  It it a new policy for the irs to request copies of your children's birth?

Just thinking there might be some fraud here.  What do you think?

That is really interesting.  Why is the accountant asking at all?

Yea, it's funny how come then they don't ask for that at the voting booth? Don't they know that Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, and Goofy all live in Orlando not Washington DC.

Very funny * I would ask WHY it is needed NOW?  I have never heard of requiring a birth certificate

I actually like writing a check to "Uncle".  It means that I made something on which I pay taxes on.  Thanks folks for the comments.
