It never ceases to amaze me with all of the clever uses people come up with for that foam insulation in a can. I was doing an appraisal for a home recently, which for the most part the house was in pretty good condition until I got to this bedroom. The draft must of been more than they could take so they removed all of the base trim and starting plugging holes. Obviously this will have to be addressed.
Good morning Michael,
Creative, but WRONG! There should be an annual award given by that company for the many uses of their product...LOL, thanks for the laugh!
For only $5 you can plug any hole, just as long as you aren't worried about cosmetic appeal!
Good morning Michael -
Like I always say.... Right when you think everything well you haven't! Spending a little money and time to begin with can and will save you in the future!
I hope you enjoy a great Monday in all you do!
John
This is really a pretty easy fix, but it seems that things like like are avoid, as they seem complicated.
Thank you for sharing the post with all of us.
Lisa~I'm thinking it's getting to the point someone is going to write a book like they did with duct tape.
Hi Liz & Bill~I'm thinking they must of been going nuts, because they ripped off all of the trim to fill it in with that ugly foam.
Thanks John!
You're right Joe, but they just left it, that's what the strange part is.
Hey John~It's not the worst that I've seen, but does make me scratch my head.
Click here on how to make it an AWESOME day!
It makes you wonder, Michael, how cold that room was, and if the draft was that bad, is there insulation in the walls, or is there a hole to outside somewhere...
I love that foam insulation, but I think people tend to forget how much it expands... :D
