I just clicked on this link on the Tennessee Development site and counted over 156 Japanese companies with factories and/or offices in Tennessee. I did not count the other countries with industry here.
After reading recent news it appears that industry is going to have a hard time producing in Japan due to a lack of energy(namely electrical energy).
We have room here in Tennessee for your Japanese industries and several nuclear power plants to supply your energy in addition to the coal burning plants producing electricity.
There is a mega site location available here in West Tennessee near Brownsville which will house any auto plants or other large induistrial sites.
Labor here in West Tennessee is plentiful since so many companies have closed. And what you will have to pay will not be a problem since so many have only found part time jobs that pay very little.
In November this country is going to elect a pro business President who will reduce the burdensome regulations that has been hurting our industires for the last 3 1/2 years. I am excited for the future and look forward to more industries relocating to Tennessee.
