Diane, Jeremy, and Terri would like to share a recap of what took place yesterday at our monthly sales meeting. Bert Baine with Village Builders at Creekside was the sponsor for the meeting, and they shared with our agents that the type of sales numbers taking place right now is very similar, if not better than, numbers in 2006. This further validates that our market is growing momentum and shifting towards a sellers market.

Diane spent some time sharing from the KW Market Navigator information regarding affordability for home buyers today. There has been no better time to buy a home. This is information that needs to get out to your clients and customers. KW Market Navigators are available to purchase for $5 each. Let Diane Flicker know that you are interested in receiving a copy. This material will give you valuable information that you can share with your clients and customers giving you additional credibility as a real estate professional.

Jeremy shared with agents the importance of including a virtual tour with your listing when posting to www.HAR.com. Try running a search of your favorite neighborhood from the consumer side of www.HAR.com without selecting the virtual tour option. Run the search again with the virtual tour option selected. What you will see that if the consumer selects the virtual tour option in their web search on www.HAR.com, the number of homes "available for sale" is greatly reduced. This means that even if there might be an better alternative that fits the consumers needs better listed on the market, it will not be seen if it does not have a virtual tour posted, and the consumer selected the virtual tour search option. Talk about an opportunity to stand out from other listings in the market place. Jeremy also shared an iPad app for those agents going mobile with their business. The iPad app is Genius Scan+. This application gives both your iPhone and iPad the ability to take a picture of a document and email it to anyone in your contacts. This application also works great with those utilizing the DropBox application to store and share documents. 

Terri Toman shared with our agents several business enhancing ideas that were discussed at the recent Masterminds event in Las Vegas. Terri also talked about lead follow up utilizing top agent, Ben Kinney's 10 days of pain. The 10 days of pain can be found in the book Social written by Jay Papasan and Ben Kinney. This book is a free download that can be found on www.kw.com. In the search box at www.kw.com, type the word social. (or get it here...)

Michael Clapp shared with the agents the new business relationship with OneSource. OneSource is a buyer concierge service that works on your behalf to set up your clients utilities and services. Click here to learn more about how OneSource works. For this to work for your clients, it is important to have your paperwork including your greensheet turned in at least 10 days in advance of your closing. The greensheet needs to include your client's name, phone number, and email. OneSource will contact your client on your behalf to see how they assist your client in setting up utilities and various services. It is important to know that they will not pressure your clients, and it is important to know that they will destroy their information once contact is made. This benefit to you will not work if paperwork is not submitted in a timely manner allowing OneSource ample time to communicate effectively and efficiently with your client so that services are set in advance of closing. 

Diane wrapped up the meeting recognizing our agents for production accomplishments. The agents of KW The Woodlands and Magnolia are accomplishing amazing feats. This is evident in the profit share back to the agents. In the last 2 months, KW The Woodlands and Magnolia has shared back to the agents almost $100,000. Also the drawings for the listing contest took place. Cindy Huseby won a 30 minute business consultation with Jay Papasan, co-author of the MREA, SHIFT, MREI, SHIFT Commercial, Green Your Home, and many other top selling real estate books. Jeanette Solis won 8 tickets to the Astros games. We had 5 agents each win a $50 gift card to Rico's restaurants, and 10 agents each won $5 off their office bill. This meeting rocked!
