Orange County Agent Marlene Dietrich supports Arpan Global Charities

Marlene Dietrich is a fervent supporter of the (AGC) Arpan Global Charities’ ideals. She has recently made a large donation in their support. She is not a medical person but feels the cause is of great need that she must find her own way to support. Marlene Dietrich handed Dr. Sudeep Kukreja, a neonatologist at Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange, and founder of this Medical Volunteer Organization. The word “Arpan” is a Hindi word, meaning "dedication" or "to give".

AGC’s goals, consisting of two key components - service and education, are as follows:

1. Provide free medical services to the medically underserved populations of the world, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion or nationality
2. Provide international health education to medical students, who are the future providers of health care, through volunteer medical trips to these underserved populations
3. Provide continuing education to international health care providers as a means towards self-sufficiency

Marlene Dietrich was impressed with the goals of AGC and promises to continue her support of their great works
