These stats are for 6 counties served by our Multiple Listing Service and are for residential properties only, not including lots/land and provided by our Western NC Regional Multiple Listing Service.

Inventory is higher reflecting the regions real estate season.  A drop in properties SOLD as the market goes up and down, but, we are seeing much more buyer activity.

It's still a buyers market but things are starting to look up a little more for sellers.  Buyers still have a great selection to choose from including short sales and foreclosures which generally take some patience as they can be slower moving to a Closing.  Low interest rates continue and I can't imagine a better time for buyers/investors in a position to purchase than now.  Come see what all gorgeous Western NC has to offer.

Our stats would certainly mirror yous... Not thrilled with them however we too are seeing more buyer activity just so difficult to get that commitment... We currently have three years of inventory at our current sales rate... Yikes!!!  Have a Happy Day
